This Privacy Policy explains how Always Blue Software LLC (“Always Blue Software,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit the Task Trakr website at tasktrakr.com (the “Site”) or request a demo through it.
This policy covers the website only. Use of the Task Trakr application is governed by your agreement with us, which describes how we handle the data you store in it.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you request a demo, we collect your name, work email address, company, team size, and your description of what you would like to track. If you email us directly, we receive the contents of your email and any information it includes.
Usage information
We use LogRocket, an analytics service, to understand how visitors use the Site. LogRocket records the pages you view and how you interact with them, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, which allows a visit to be replayed as a reconstruction of the session. It also collects technical information such as your browser and device type, screen size, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
Text entered into our demo request form is masked in these recordings, and the content of form submissions is excluded, so LogRocket does not receive the information you type into the form.
Server and security logs
Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of the request. We use this information to operate and secure the Site.
How we use information
- To arrange and deliver your demo, and to communicate with you about Task Trakr
- To understand how the Site is used and to improve its content and design
- To maintain the security of the Site and to prevent spam and abuse
- To comply with our legal obligations
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not advertise on the Site.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. LogRocket uses cookies and browser storage to recognize a visit as you move between pages. The Site's fonts are provided by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them, and Google receives your IP address in the process. Google's use of that information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, the Site does not load LogRocket, and your visit is not recorded. You can also block analytics with most browser privacy settings and extensions.
How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Site and our business:
- Amazon Web Services hosts the Site and processes demo requests, delivering them to us by email.
- Google Workspace provides our email. Demo requests and emails you send us are stored in our Google Workspace accounts.
- LogRocket provides the usage analytics described above.
- Google Fonts provides the Site's web fonts.
We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of Always Blue Software, our clients or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
Data retention
We keep demo requests and email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business records, including for the duration of any resulting customer relationship. LogRocket recordings are retained for a limited period and then deleted automatically. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below, unless we are required to keep it by law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to:
- Know about and access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and receive your information in a portable format
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither)
To exercise any of these rights, email info@tasktrakr.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to demo requests, understanding how the Site is used, and keeping it secure) or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States.
Security
The Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to the information we collect is restricted to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other websites, including alwaysbluesoftware.com. Those websites are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
